1. First, we'll figure the wear age of your carpet. Let's say your carpet is ten years old, but only has a wear age of two years. Perhaps your two year old carpet has a wear age of ten years (let's hope not). We can determine the remaining life expectancy of your carpet and give you a 'prescription' to make it last as long as possible.

2. Then we'll assess all the problems your carpet has, if any. We'll scout your house for 'permanent' stains. We will let you know whether or not they can be removed and how. This includes pet stains and other problem areas.

3. We'll determine the 'health' of your carpet. You probably have never thought of your carpet in terms of having good or bad health. Well, just like people, if a carpet is in bad health it won't last long. Moreover, your carpet's health can affect your and your family's health. Consider this. When you enter the house, you track in asphalt - which is a petroleum product mostly composed of hydrocarbons. You also track in a host of other pollutants including pollens, tar, soot, cigarette smoke, and plenty of other unwanted chemicals. These pollutants dive into your carpet and make themselves at home. We will get rid of those unwanted guests. Clean carpets reduce indoor air pollution.

4. We will focus on your high traffic areas.
High traffic areas are the dingy trails that get worn into the natural pathways in your home. They get walked on constantly and need special attention. We will show you how to make those high traffic zones look like the rest of your carpet.

5. You'll get a written report that details the state of your carpet. We'll tell you what your carpet needs are. If we can be of service, we'll give you a quote.
